Overview: My husband and I wanted a save the date that felt personal, visually memorable, and worthy of a spot on the fridge.
The Concept: Music has always been central to our relationship. In fact, sharing playlists is part of what brought us together, so a playlist-inspired design felt like a natural fit. It was a way to tell our story before guests even arrived at the wedding.
The Design Decisions: I pulled an image from our engagement shoot taken in Philadelphia, where we met. The "Love" mural in the background felt like it was made for this moment. Red was a deliberate choice, nodding to both my husband's favorite color and our wedding palette. I paired the photography with a vintage typeface that complemented the grittiness of the mural and gave the card a timeless feel.
The Result: The save the dates were a hit and made it to the fridge, exactly as planned.
